Prekmurje is region, lying between the Mur River in Slovenia and the Rába Valley in the most western part of Hungary.
The region is divided into three geographical subregions: hilly area to the north of Murska Sobota, known as the Goričko; the eastern flatlands stretching between the Mur River, known as Ravensko (literary, "The Flatlands"), and the western lowlands around Lendava, known as Dolinsko (literary, "The Lowlands"). North-east of Lendava, there is a small hilly sub-region, known as Lendava Hills.
So you can imagine that discovering the region on bicycle can be rich and even though easy, at the end of the tours you have feeling that you did something for your body and mind.
It's perfect for long weekend, but if you stay there for more days, you can't be bored.
My starting point, when in Prekmurje, is town Moravske toplice (spa).
Day 1 Great Rhapsody
The route is suitable for moderate prepared cyclists, which will cope with it without excessive effort.
Among the attractions on the road, it's plenty of time to rest, and enjoy the beautiful views and nature products.
The rout is sown with not too many ups and downs.
